UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva (19-4)
vs.
Rich Franklin (22-2)
Main Event Preview:
Silva
Vs.
Franklin
The October 20 event — just the second-ever to hit Ohio (UFC 68) — earned the moniker because current UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva will defend his title against the former 185-pound titleholder and hometown hero, Rich Franklin, in the main event.
The show that takes place at the U.S. Bank Arena.
Silva is more experienced than the first time he fought Franklin last year.
Once the Octagon door closes it won’t matter where the fight takes place. He is not intimidated about it happening in Cincinnati. Fans can expect a phenomenal fight. He has not underestimated Franklin.
Silva has trained really hard and he is motivated to put on a good show for the fans. He owes it to the fans and the UFC to put on a good fight.
The fight card also features a heavyweight showdown between Tim Sylvia (23-3) vs. Brandon Vera (8-0)
